LIGHT AND DO NOT RECOMMENT FOR LONG HIGHWAY TRAVEL FOR SENIORS. IF YOU MUST THAN STOP EVERY HOUR AND WALK AROUND THE CAR A COUPLE OF TIMES!

I bought this car used from a dealership with 40K for $10 350 back in Dec/2008 and am presently at 252 000K and going strong. It's had no major repairs and has been a wonderful car - great gas mileage, comfortable, easy to drive manual transmission. I have nothing but compliments for this trusty car, which has aced many long road trips and a daily commute of 50 km. Repairs have included clutch, a back door latch, brakes, CD/radio electrical when I first got it. A/C is excellent and powerful, cruise control and heated seats work well. I don't think I'll ever get a better car, and the price sure was right!

Great driving car. Fuel efficient, yet good power on highway driving. Great city car, easy to park.

I got a good deal on this car 5 years ago. The car has been great. Once it's out of warranty don't take it to the dealer. They'll try to sell you expensive replacement parts that you can do without. Other than that I have no issues. I'd recommend it to anyone that needs a compact car on a budget.

Drove this car all the way to British Columbia and back to the East coast! Bought this car in February 2012! And the only things I had to replace were 4 tires; 2 lightbulbs ; oil changes; and 2 wipers! Earlier, I owned a Ford Escort (rust bucket); a Saturn Ion and found that this Elantra is the best of the 3!!! When I drove back in the winter time from BC, had to drive very treacherous roads in Ontario. About 200 kms of snow/ice covered roads. The car handled very good on icy down hill roads. For now on, if I have to get a new car, Im going to get an Elantra!!!!!

This car is awesome;however, because I have recently had an ankle injury, I am finding it difficult to drive manual transmission. Looking to buy an automatic.

Bought my 2007 Elantra last June and it is AWESOME!! It has me set on buying a newer Elantra with a higher trim level because I think they are a great car! It is very reliable and has great fuel economy!
Keep up the great work Hyundai, you gained a lifelong customer!! :)

I really love my 2007 Elantra. I had some trouble with flickering console lights and had a terrible time with my local dealer. I won't ever buy a Hyundai again because of my local dealer which is a shame because I really like the overall reliability vs. cost of this line of vehicles.

Great for comfort, love the heated seats. Can fix almost anything or a family. Not toosporty though.

Great car; very nice looking. Fuel economy is average for its class, and very reliable. Definitely a good buy.
