I've had this car for a decade now, and it still works fine. The fuel economy is very good. This car is very reliable. It has not broken down even a single time. I would recommend this car to everyone. The car is very comfortable despite being so old. I enjoy this car very much. Although the car is very old, the exterior still looks good. My friend also has the same model car as me and has not had a single problem with his car either. It is spacious enough to fit your whole family and is comfortable enough for long road trips.

have had for 2 yrs now and i re done the brakes and changed the oil general maintenance stuff oh and i had to replace the starter but that was no problem just got a used one from the local wreckers and replace it myself in under 2 hrs. nothing too it. now the body i did some work on it too just body work removing the rust and adding some body filler other then that its a perfect car.

I've had this car for 5 years now and have had no repairs costing more than $100. Despite having very plain styling and is somewhat boring it has not failed me even once, making it a very reliable car. This car gets you from points A to B and in a used state can be found for very cheap. Other than maintenance it is very cheap to run, getting good gas mileage and requiring little to no repairs.

Extremely reliable car with almost no flaws. Quality materials used inside and out contribute to the car's longevity and aesthetics. The ride is surprisingly soft and silent for a car of that category. Performances are honest and fuel consumption quite low. Except for normal maintenance, this car never asks for anything and never breaks. After 15 years on the road, my Corolla still handles 2000+ miles trips without any issue and I'm always confident it will bring me to my destination and back. Not the best winter car but that's the only downside I can think of.

This car will just keep going. It is reliable, great on gas mileage, and looks good too. You won`t go wrong driving this car for long trips or just around town. A great buy!!

perfect little car .... couldn't ask for any better ... excellent gas mileage and you sure can beat the reliability ... you just can't kill the motors .... my other car has over 422,000 on her and she is still purring like a kitten .... other then regular oil changes n stuff she has never failed me on a cold winter day and she walks right through the snow like a tanker lol .. I can't say enough wonderful things about these cars ...

An excellent vehicle with a smooth ride, peppy performance and great on gas. Good size trunk and seats 5 passengers comfortably. Great sound from AM/FM radio and CD player.

I bought my 2001 Corolla used in 2003 with 40k miles. It now has 120k miles and is still my primary car. No engine problems that others have reported. My catalytic converter was replaced at 115k though. I've done by the book maintenance and have had no major problems. The only big repairs I've had were break issues that were my fault from overly aggressive city driving. I'm not sure about what others have said about burning oil...I haven't noticed it but I know little about cars. This car gets better gas mileage than the current Corolla models.

I wanted a SUV but gas went from 0.89 cents a litre to $1.25 and I found I was dreaming about what I could get for my dollar. After an exhausting search my step father and I found this two year old Corolla.

It literally had been driven by a little old lady where she had only put 5K on it in two years. The only damage on the car was where her oxygen tank had scratched the glove box!

My stepfather decided that this was the car for me and he was going to spend my entire budget to get it. I was young! $17K for a car seemed like a lot to me.

That car was one of my best decisions. It has run like a dream for over 10 years and with regular servicing it has only required minimal investment over the years - two sets of tires, two sets of brakes and a few bits and bobs here and there.

Its obviously not a flashy car by any means. Heck, it's downright ugly. But what it does do, it does it well. Easy on the gas, low maintenance, and the value is always there. What more can you ask for a car! It's cheap, and definitely a bang for the buck. Great for students, or businesses that need it for delivery or other trip purposes. If you need a functional car and tight on budget, this is the car to go. You won't regret it!

It has over 350,000 km on it and it still works great. Even with the really cold weather we've been having lately it still turns on!

The interior has a simple and slick design, and isn't too complex for people to use. The exterior also has a simple yet nice trim, and allows people to have a simple car which doesn't cost too much but looks good as well. The fuel economy is okay, you don't need to go to the gas pumps always and costs about $30 for a full tank. The performance and reliability however is a different story, there's always issues that I need to get fixed and in one day I spent $3000 and then the week after it needs another fixing. Not to pleased on that, overall it's an alright car.

I like the car for driving but if it's about fuel consumption then I won't buy this car. My car just give me 5 km / litre milage..

I feel the power on this car, but the excessive road noise and the bumps make the car wiggle a lot. But otherwise, a good car, with the good stereo, and the excellent reliability of a corolla, this is the car you should buy!

control was always amazing. It was driven hard in winter/summer but rarely broke down. Very reliable. I would recommend this car to anyone easily. It was a loyal dog that may of out lived the lifespan of its breed but even in old age she performed better than newer models. I miss that car.

I've had this car for more than 10 years and have still been continuing to use it. I didn't need to change the car because there was absolutely no problems with it. It is great on the interior and exterior, simple and easy to use. I believe that it is cheap and is definitely worth the price.

I had the car for 2 years and have only had to replace the break pads, which is normal for a car that old. it cost me around 40 dollars to fill it up every time and lasted me for weeks.

This car has been long-term reliable. Maintain it well with oil changes, new tires etc. and it will go the distance for you. It has been a wonderful vehicle for getting around the city and for longer trips. There is enough storage space for anything you need to take with you and pick up. Very happy with my Corolla experience.
