Could be better, could be worse
We used to own a Mitsibushi Pajero. Loved it! However, we moved, and with moving came a long a new car- a '06 Jeep Cherokee. It's not a bad car, honest! Definitely, in my opinion, in the top 50% of cars. However, that said- it is not too far from average. It includes features you've come to expect in a car, but unfortunately not too many extra, "wow" features. The radio/CD player is a start- it's basic and doesn’t include much of the new technology found in newer cars, such as a screen display to indicate what song’s being played, etc. That said, it's not that new of a car and isn't something I place too much value on, but it would've been a nice extra. The car drives well but we've unfortunately had many problems with brakes and especially with the gas cap. We've had incidents where we had to teach the boys at the gas station how to close it properly because it was too different from other gas caps. Bizarre! Comfort is mediocre, with experience being shotgun and in the backseat, I don't really have much to praise. It gets squishy and I find myself wishing we had a van! Performance is good, but not first class. Fuel Economy is pretty good! I've rented cars where they fill up quickly so you pay less but they slurp-slurp-slurp the gas in the blink of an eye. Strangely enough, I've had the opposite problem with other cars. I've had cars that would take forever to fill up and you would end up paying a fortune for gas at once, yet it would last you for several weeks at a time. This car, on the other hand, is right in between and doesn't slurp your gas OR your money, a perk indeed. Interior design is blah, but that's just me. Exterior styling- I don't know, I didn't awfully like it at first but it's grown on to me. Reliability is meh. All in all, you can't go wrong with this car, but you can't necessarily go right. If this is what your budget can afford- then go for it! It's one of the best in its range, I believe.
