Honda CR-V 1994-2017Change

Not a sports car, but still drives great, doesn't shake at high speed, good sound insulation, and perfect for winter weather.
Bluetooth with hdmi and usb ports make great entertainment system and has plenty of leg room. I would recommand this for anyone looking for a reliable, economic, and efficient car who needs back seat space for rear passengers. Never had any problem with it and for a family person, it is the perfect car under 30,000$.

Bought a 2013 CR-V touring model in late 2015 and love the fuel economy. The GPS is too complicated, awkward to use and so time consuming to input addresses, you are at (or past) your destination before it kicks in. The worst feature about this vehicle has to be the road noise in the passenger compartment. It becomes necessary to increase the volume of the radio at times. Not sure I'll buy another if the road noise issue is not addressed.

I now have 208,000 km....we have kept up basic service....and no major repairs....replaced timing belt when recommended at 150000kkm....only knock is its not the most comfortable seats....for a city car its tremendous.....motor showing no signs of leaking oil....and that's amazing for a old car like this.....I have been looking for a replacement with a bigger area or at least the same in the rear to carry my two dogs in a small suv...cant find one....seems like I will have to keep my crv for another 15 years...oh well.....change your oil every 5 km and they seem to last forever

Which is why you see so many of these small suv's everywhere of all years.
C.R. Rates all Honda vehicles as one of or is the noisiest in its category; I definitely agree.
My biggest complaint is that it rides quite poorly, you feel every little bump in the road.
It's been a very good vehicle, mechanically - but I will look for a better ride when I buy my next one.

All I have o say, it's a Honda. It's a very reliable car, maintenance free, excellent on gas, actual design, great response and handling, specially if you turn off the econo button. The interior and equipment are ok but when iphones are on bluetooth and you try to connect simultaneously with the power cable, sometimes it freezes...not sure if honda fixed it. A paddle shift would be a great improvement and Honda should not make face lifts to frequently.

I bought the "bare bones" Honda CRV. no leather, no upgrades what so ever. It is a front wheel drive with no 4x4 option on it. I purchased for commuting to school and work. I get 31 miles per gallon, which is amazing on gas. I fill up my tank once every 10 days at a cost at $55 on silver fuel at 1.10 a liter aprox.

Cons. It is a little road noisy. The interior fabrics are on the cheaper side. I did have to purchase a set of

But like I said earlier, I purchased it solely for travel and good gas mileage. I have enjoyed this vehicle and would recommend to someone who wants something bigger then a car, but better on gas then an SUV. It has good cargo space in the back and I have never had issues not having enough space. Overall, great car, never had any issues on it as of yet and it is now almost 5 years old, actually I have never taken it in to Honda for anything other then an oil change.

Picked this 2015 CRV LX a few weeks ago, I am coming from a civic 2013, and I must say this car is a dream to drive! I test drove other vehicles in the segment including RAV4 and chose the CRV... insurance premiums are low, very good fuel economy, best resale out there, supporting Canadian economy (car made in Allison Ontario) and reliability. The slight vibrations at a stop light are not that noticeable, and shouldn't be a deal breaker. The engine is smooth and powerful :)

Only one recall, drivers door latch replacement under warranty.
Replacement of 2 other door electronic latchs.
NO other real issues, excellent on gas and great in the snow.

Bought this CRV when it was 2 years old. Made in Japan, AWD. It now has close to 400K kms on it. Just did regular maintenance: oil, filters, tires, brakes, etc. Had to do suspension work in the last 2 years, still reasonable repair costs. It's been replaced with a 2013, will be sorry to see it go....

I bought a new one in 2003 and had it till April 2013 ;) It did handle on the road as a car .During those almost 10 years I had to change: battery after 8 years and rebuild breaks after 9. Bad on gas during cold months. Comfort so/so. Lost it in an accident ;(, but now I am driving Honda CR-V 2013, which I like very much ;).

Bought brand new. Have 2200 miles on it. It shakes, vibrates, and shudders not only at idle, but while driving. Very fatiguing vehicle to drive longer than 15 -20 minutes. Honda has even admitted to vibration problems in its infamous youtube video.
My recommendation: DO NOT buy the '15 model; wait to see if bugs are worked out in the '16 or '17 models.

Traded ours in after 6 months. Bad vibrations in steering wheel, seats and floor pan after engine is warmed up. Experienced at idle, especially at stop lights; at light-throttle city driving; and on highway at 105 kmph and up. Same very buzzy, high tech engine as the Accord but does not have the hydraulic engine mounts the Accord has to absorb vibrations. An engineering failure by Honda. This vehicle will never die. No rust, virtually no repairs (other than the obvious tires, brakes oil in 13 years.
AWD and Fun-fun to drive. Even has a built in tailgate table and under the rear floor!
Tried out the 2011 and 2014. Why spend another 20k on something that does exactly what mine does and no table!
So many cubbies, sliding rear seats and fold flat. The new CRV's rear seats don't slide.
We're oaky with the swing door. Again, not worth 20k + to upgrade to a lift gate.
Doesn't get the L/100km like the new cars, but 8.9 vs. the newer 7.5 on the hwy doesn't justify paying $400+ /month for a new one.

It is a great car and it is fun to drive. I havent found any issues with it. Its like you are driving a car.

Terrific ride. Complete control. You know that you have control on your car. Flows like water on the road. Spacious interior. Very comfortable seats. Excellent for long drives.

Awesome vehicle. Easy to drive and park. Good on fuel. Great for camping, comes with own picnic table. Can haul a lot of stuff like a truck, but drives like a car.

We have had no issues with our Honda at all. Easy maintenance, reliable and safe. It is time for a bigger vehicle but the Honda has served our family well and will be a good vehicle for anyone!

This car has a great ride and great handling.
But what makes it a great family car is the dual headrest DVD players. No more FIGHTING kids get to watch their own movies.
The remote car starter is a BONUS in the winter.

This little (but big inside) CR-V has served us well since we purchased it new in 2006. It's great for camping, getting around the city, long road trips and capable in all conditions - snow, rain, gravel and even logging roads.
While small and easy to mange the interior room is unsurpassed. With great fuel economy yet enough power to pass on a highway, this car is great for just about anything.
There's no other small SUV that beats the CR-V.

I have had this car which is very economic in gas, never spent over 80 $ per month, reliable and basically maintenance free.

This car is really good and perfect car for anyone. no engine sound, fuel economy, comfort in driving, etc.

Its a pretty good car, It has great reliability, it always takes you where you need to go and doesn't mess up. The inside of the car could be a bit more attractive, it seems like Honda hasn't changed much in the interior, some older cars look nicer inside. Anyways, its still a great car and it is quite comfortable to ride in.

it is very reliable car. i had this car for two year without any issue.
it is good vehicle for kids with lots of room for strollers and groceries etc.
it's a smaller engine with good power and very good on gas.
with AWD the winter driving was very safe.
