The best all around multi purpose vehicle. Is great on gas and can fit everything you would ever want. Reliable and starts on the first try every time.

Second owner of this truck. Very comfortable and easy to drive ect. Back up sensors make it easy for busy places for parking.

never had a hitch with mine drove it alot and was easy on fuel woluld recomend this kind to car to someone who does alot of driving

Great car. It's a tough, strong, well made 4x4 machine. Really enjoyed owning this car. Love love loved the back up beaper. Sun roof was nice. Leather seats are classy.

I've had this as a second car for a few years and it's been very reliable, only requiring expected maintenance for the most part. The vehicle drives very well in the winter and on bad roads, and the handling is excellent in all conditions. The interior is quite dated compared to the latest vehicles. There is an issue I have with the driver and passenger seats. I am 6'3" and the cushions are very short and my thigh cramps up terribly after 15-20 minutes of driving. I would never take this vehicle on a road trip because of this. Fuel economy is marginal, performance is adequate.

When it was brand new, the Escape was a great SUV. The interior was good, but considering it was a Limited edition, I expected a little more. It was the first car I had with back-up sensors. When we bought the car, it was very solid, and felt like a quality SUV. After a few years, the ride seemed to be a little more tinny and noisy. I suspect that a weld broke on one of the heat shields in the exhaust system, but never got it checked. Brakes went early on this car, but that may have been driving style or a good sales job by the service department. We’ve towed boats and trailers behind this vehicle, and never had a performance issue. In general, if you can’t afford to step-up to the Edge, this is a good family SUV.
