New & Used Jeep Liberty for Sale

I currently own a 2003 Liberty Limited. It is a great little SUV since I came from a Sunfire. Its a perfect size, easy to drive, park and has no problem pulling or over taking any vehicle. The 4x4 is great in the winter and got me out of some messes. Its reliable SUV. My only complaint is the gas miliage, don't be fooled by size, the 3.7 is thirsty and as a student, all my paycheques go there. about $30-40 from half and $60-80 from a 1/4 or less. Its a great SUV, I love mine, I have everything but leather so I love it. The one thing you have the be aware of is if you buy a 2002-2004 model THE ROCKER PANELS WILL RUST. I have a huge hole that goes from the back to the middle of the SUV, RUST PROOF. Other than that, great SUV and I would recommend it to anyone. LOVE MY JEEP!

Great power and fun drive, 4x4 is a great advantage in the winter. Great for towing boats, ATVs, etc.

I bought my 2003 Liberty used, over 3 years ago, for an amazing deal because of high mileage and I have not been disappointed.

Currently it has over 410,000 km, many of which were put on by the previous owner but you would never know. Everytime I take it for an oil change the oil change peeps are all like 'Whhaaaaa, this is in amazing shape" - and I can't brag and say I take exceptional good care of it either. I take 'alright' care of it and it's still exceeding my expectations.

The only repair I have done is replaced the alternator, which only cost a few hundred dollars.

It pains me to say anything bad about my Liberty - but I must report severe rusting on the rockers and tailgate. When I walk through the neighbourhood I notice rusting in the exact same spots on similar year vehicles.

My goal is to drive this to 450,000 km and retire her in scrap metal heaven!

My Liberty is everything I wanted in a family SUV, comfortable, roomy and reliable. Has a sturdy long lasting solid axle suspension making it a very capable off road vehicle with very good on road driving ability, it is a Jeep. It's not like those other SUV watanabe's that have car like suspensions and no clearance and drive like a marshmallow around corners. I think an SUV should be based on a strong truck platform not some car converted to fit the SUV category. Has tons of room and carrying capacity, my 3 6ft tall boys fit easily in the back seat and are comfortable on long trips, try that in a Subaru or a Toyota RAV4. I am 6ft+ and my wife is 5ft 4", we can both comfortably drive it with easy adjustments to the seat and mirrors.
We find it better on fuel than the factory rating with the 3.7l V6 and it has not used any oil between oil changes and the oil stays clean, now has 52,000+ kms. Has had no warranty issues or recalls, nothing has broken and still looks brand new. Not a sports car but does perform better than I expected, brakes well and is very easy to see out of. I like it much better than the Jeep Cherokee XJ 4x4 we had before and I personally like the nostalgic boxy Jeep look. I would purchase one again.

Overall I'm pleased with the Jeep Liberty. I do find that a few interior changes need to be made. I have had passengers tell me that it is difficult to get in and out of the back seat due to a lack of leg room and that the back seat is hard.

There is also a huge lack of legroom in the front seat, no where to put your purse(or a bag) Jeep still does not have a fix for the digital clock which NEVER keeps the right time!

Drives great in the winter. I've never been stuck in the snow yet!

speed and style 4*4 car what makes jeep liberty is one of a kind but there s a problem since it s light from back it skid easy mostly on water unless i use the gear

Bought this SUV brand new, it now has 87000 kms with nothing wrong with it so far. Is basic 4 wheel drive so rides a little rough but reliable, good looking SUV for a good price if your looking to save money.

Overall, it was a so so purchase. I enjoyed the esthetics of the JEEP ever since I was a young boy but I wouldn't purchase a new one due to the reliability issues I've had.

it has 163000 KM and never broke down just the battery is crapy it wasnt the orignal but other than that its pretty good jeep has always been good

I purchased this vehicle in 2007 with 36,000kms on it. I have found this Jeep to be extremely reliable. It's comfortable and has great handling. I feel comfortable driving it in all weather conditions, and I haven't had anything serious go wrong with it. Love the trunk and fold down seats, great for extra storage. Will never drive anything other than a Jeep.
