Solid and Reliable
Had the Sienna for 12+ years and it is the most reliable vehicle you can have. Only 1 minor recall from Toyota which didn't have to be fixed. The only thing that was replaced on the vehicle was the plastic latch in the rear tailgate. It is replaced with a metal one. You can't beat the reliability of this vehicle. There's no rust, no engine knocks, and the car runs like it did the first day. The only knock against the Sienna is that it is not a fuel efficient as some of the newer, lighter, SUV's that just came out. 7 seater is great when you need the room to transport a bunch of kids or carry large loads. The van just feels safe while you're driving it.

Toyota Quality and Reliability
This vehicle has been extremely reliable over the years since it was purchased new in 2000. It has come in very handy for transporting the kids, and is very flexible as both the second and third row seats can be removed to allow plenty of cargo space to carry or haul almost anything. With the addition of an after market trailer hitch, it allows even further benefits as it can tow up to 3,500 lbs. Most notable, has been the Toyota reliability. Simply change the oil on a regular recommended interval, and this van will last another 300K.

Very Reliable Family Vehicle
Being a parent of 2 in Canada, getting around in harsh winter conditions is no easy job. The 2000 Toyota Sienna however, has been a very smooth experience. The vehicle has provided not only me, but my family a very safe and comfortable ride without having to worry much about vehicle failures. Needless to say, I would definitely recommend this car to any family with kids, because with the power door, and other features, this vehicle is unmatched. 12 years and still going strong, the relationship i have between me and my vehicle is more then i could ever ask for.

Great family vehicle
We bought our van from the original owner when it was 6 years old. We've had it for 6 years since then, doubled the amount of kilometers the van has, and have NO issues with this vehicle! It is fantastic and we're so pleased with it.

We've used it to pull our tent trailer on vacation without issues, and the gas mileage does not change from our usual trips.

Mini-van with comfort, space and car-like drive
I have enjoyed being the soccer mom, car pool taxi driver, and using the Sienna for family trips as well as about town. It is so comfortable to drive. With 2 captains' seats for passengers, we never had the cry of "I want to be by the window"!! It is the easiest mini-van to drive and has a power adjustable front seat which is imperative for me, being fairly short. I love being able to flip between cd, and radio stations and change the volume while driving as the controls are on the steering wheel. We no longer need a mini-van and it is time to say good-bye. It has been very reliable and should continue to be so with loving care.

Great Buy
This is vehicle is great for someone with a family. It can comfortably seat 7 people. On road trips my family of five and I travel quite comfortably in our Sienna. There is plenty of space for luggage in the trunk as well you can fit it beside the door. I recommend everyone with a family to buy this vehicle.

Terrific Buy
This is an awesome family car, especially for road trips! Kids and luggage can fit comfortably in this car. I've had my Toyota Sienna since 2000 and its still good as new. The stereo has good bass and the AC is nice. Overall I would say this is perfect for someone with a family.

Awesome Reliability
I bought it used in 2004 with 51K on it from a dealer. The car is comfortable and very reliable. I had my van for 6 yrs. I replaced the brake pads. I did regular oil, filter and air filter changes. I put 275K on it. We had a freak accident. My wife parked the car at her place of work. The car parked next to her caught fire and our van was damaged in the fire. It was a total right-off. We got money from the insurance company. We decided to buy another Toyota Sienna because we love this van. I will always buy Toyota because it is reliable and fuel economy is great.

A reliable, handy vehicle.
An ideal family van - this year's model lacks the various family friendly bells and whistles you find in more modern models like DVD players, etc. - but for an older model mini van you'll find the Sienna is reliable and easily maintained, and offers a good amount of comfort for up to 7 passengers.

The seats are easily removable for extra space, though you'll need to store them elsewhere as the van lacks stow and go seats. You'll rarely find yourself wanting for room however with the size of the interior.

I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a solid family friendly vehicle with plenty of space.
