Jeep Wrangler 2001Change

I have had my jeep for over 5 years now, very reliable. I bought it used on auto trader!! A little hard on gas with the big 33 tires..but worth every penny!!

this car is great on and off road. but you must be careful when its raining or snowing, it tends to slide because of its light weight. its a great summer car with the roof and doors off. Air conditioning and heating works great. its a ton of fun, its ok on gas, there has been better. its deffenately a fun hardy ride. the simplicity of the design inside is great. no power windows, locks, or seats. it feels like kit car having everything come apart. who needs a sun roof when the whole roof comes off. i wouldnt trade this car for anyting except a newer model

Jeep Tj with 4 inch lift and 33 inch tires is not your daily driver. It can run over small hondas with ease and tear up your back forty all day long. It is a must to have when off roading in the wild. Other than the horrendous gas mileage it gets, it is a fun driving experience. High up, looking down on the vast majority of drivers, you sometimes get an eyefull. Worth the drive to Acton anyday. Be sure to give this beast the right of way.Given the opportunity to run thru your side doors with a large stinger bumper, backed by a 12,000 lb winch will surely convince you. Alas the give away to it's true nature, is the total chromed out accessories, that make it shiny and mysterious. Driving with either the top up or down, still invigorates the soul.
Buy one you'll never look back...

This was such a fun car, I had this as a second ‘summer fun’ car but found myself using it a lot during the winter too.
In the middle of summer you can take off the roof and all the doors and really head down to the beach, during the winter the hard top, great heater and 4x4 capability makes it a solid choice when snowing outside.
Ok so it is very basic, no electric windows (in mine) no GPS or any of the normal electrics you expect to find, however so much fun you don’t need anything else.
I have to say that the Wrangler is not the best on Gas, so maybe not the best car to take on long road trips. Also the trunk space is very limited, the rear seats are very easy to fold up or even take away, however this then reduces the Wrangler to a 2 seat convertible 4x4.
In summary, I loved this fun little 4x4 and I would buy another one however I would go for the 2010 and newer model as this newer version has dealt with many of the reasons for the car being a 2nd car and not an all-rounder.
