This truck has been reliable and a comfort to work in on and off road. I'd take it with me to Australia if I could afford the gas over there and the shipping costs! Runs smooth, quiet and steady.

Purchased brand new in fall of 2008 and have had it ever since great truck to drive on the road very comfortable ride is exceptional you sit high up giving great road visibility I would not hesitate in buying another Maintenance wise it has been excellent just the usual oil changes, tires and brakes

This is a great pick up all maintenance done regularly, lots of compliments and very reliable. It's never been used for work purposes only pleasure, It comes with two sets of rims and tires winter and summer...

I have the full load VortecMax and it is great in every aspect. Well...almost. Fuel economy is not as great as the 4.8 or 5.3 around town, but that is to be expected with a 6.0. On the highway I'm getting almost the same mileage as the 5.3. I have the Max Trailering Package, so it has the 4.10:1 and that will also hurt the mileage a bit.

Other than that, super comfortable, fun to drive, looks great, no mechanical issues. Besides the recalls of the GM/Chev trucks of that year, nothing out of the ordinary.
