I've put 260 K on this car and have only done the brakes on it.

I would definitely recommend this car.

I spent a lot of time looking for a decent vehicle for myself and had a difficult time making a decision. But when I first seen the 2011 Hyundai Elantra, right away I new that that car was the one. It just looked so slick and sexy, I had to have it. especially after taking it for a test drive. I love this car and always seem to have people complimenting me on it! I have had no issues with it so far and it's been mine for almost six years now. and the gas millage is incredible. This is my most favourite car that have ever owned, by far!

I don't know how they can get so much power out of a 1.8 l engine and still get phenomenal gas mileage. I traded an older Mercedes 500 SL which I only drove on sunny days for something more useful. It doesn't have the same power of course as a 500 SL, but I was very impressed at how peppy it is and amazed at the fuel economy. It looks sharp and I've gotten many complements on it from people as well.

I purchased this car two years ago and absolutely love it. The car is great for first time owners as it has a great look inside and out. Fuel economy on this vehicle is great; I've never had an issue and I was still entitled to their fuel reimbursement program. The features that you get in the GLS model are AMAZING for the dollar value. Heated front and rear cloth seats, blue tooth, cruise control, satellite radio, sunroof and a sleek interior design. You won't get these features in any other car for the price. I would recommend Hyundai to anyone. They definitely know what to consumer wants!

Nice car fairly good gas consumption, just don't kick it in, good room inside, road noise is quite loud, no to good in snow even with good snow tires on. Fair value for price paid.
HAd to bring in for various service issues,shock gave out at 50000 km, brakes need change at 40000 km, heat shields let go needed new brackets...regular issues no major yet at 53000.

Reliable and comfortable. Fuel consumption could be better.
Have the car for more then two days and no issues at all. So far the best car I've owned.

Fuel economy is horrible in the city (can barely get 385kms per tank). Fuel economy is fine on the highway. (Been for tests/etc...and it's NOT my driving!)

Car is horrible in the snow without snow tires.

Comfortable, sporty, and drives nice.

Based on the fuel economy, I would not purchase another Hyundai product again.

I have had 2 other cars before this one and so far it's the best...It's very roomy....At the time I bought it , what bothered me was that it is not a hatchback...but the look of the car is almost a bit sporty and gets good fuel economy...I even recieved a pre-paid visa for gas because they made a mistake of 0.003 or something like that with fuel economy....It has great pep...The only thing is that it feels a little bit floaty on the highway, but in town it's awesome...Although 6 gears really helps on saving, especially with gas prices...I think it's the best reliable car there is in it's category right now...

If I had my time back, I would not have purchased this car. The suspension is very poor built. Feedback from the electronic steering is very numb. Car is very uneasy on bumpy roads. Alot of road noise protrudes through the cabin. Poor quality from Hyundai. My wife has a 2004 Elantra GT and that car is 10 times better than the new!

I could not be happier with this car. Hyundai has done an amazing job not only on restyling this car but in keeping true to their promise of quality engineering. I feel like I own a luxury car at an economy price. I would recommend this car to anyone.

This car has lived up to all of my expectations. It handles well in all weather, has amazing gas mileage, is comfortable, and comes with tons of features at a low price.

Super quick and fun to drive compared to all the other ones, great on gas compared to all the other ones in its class, the breaks are awesome too, i got so close to crashing twice and the ABS breaks just saved my life, steer like a charm, comfortable to drive, it is a little bumpy compared to other compact sedans, but you know what it makes it so much more fun to drive this thing then.

At first, it was new for me, so I was amazed by the car, but after some time, here what I have to say...

The Fuel usage is not really "accurate" In 1 month I fill my tank 2 time... The problem is that I don't that much KM, probably 300 km per tank.

Secundo, it take way too many time for the RPM to go under ( or nearly under) 1k rpm when we start the car, it's not normal I think but hey it's my car, so I tell other people about MY experience with my car heh !

For the price, it's okay I think...

i needed a car that was cheap on gas and low monthly payments, this car was perfect.

i only need to fill up the car once a month, sometime longer. I haven't needed to bring it to the garage for anything other than regular maintenance.

Love the styling of this car. But have Problems with finish. The leather on the steering steering wheel peeled off at 39,000km. It was cheerfully replaced at the dealership but is peeling again.
The muffler makes loud popping noise when cooling down. Gas milage isn't near what was promised, but in fairness I'm using American gas. To be more positive. The bluetooth works great with our phones, easy to use. Also the USB is great with music on a flash drive.the car has alot for the money. BUT If I had it to do over I would have kept my Matrix.
