I tried a number of cars including an Aston Vantage and a Nissan GTR before buying the Audi.

The Aston didn't feel that special. It reminded me of my old TVR days all be it better finished and nicer to look at. The GTR was very fast - amazingly fast. But again it didn't feel that special and left me a bit numb - I also found the ride very hard compared to the Audi.

The R8 for me was the complete package. It looks gorgeous, sounds lovely and you don't need to drive it fast to appreciate it. It may not be as quick as the GTR but it is plenty quick enough for road use and it comes with more smiles per mile than any other car for the money.

OK its not particularly practical when compared to a saloon, but for a mid engined sports car it isn't bad with the boot upfront and the space behind the seats. Servicing intervals are great and the costs are reasonable.

Fuel consumption is low 20's unless you drive it hard.

All round it is a fabulous car!

Owned a Granturismo now for 3 years & I have to say after having a DB9 on order & deciding not to go for it, the Maser is by far the better car. There is no comparison apart from saying that you once owned a Aston!

Being patriotic I desired the brit, the car was in my opinion the best looking car around but after seeing,driving, experiencing & salivating the italian passion & upgraded build quality there really is no equal. The Italian style shows through in the design, it's really grown on me & I think it's an absolute dream of a car with such slick looks, lines & curves. Something of a super model with class.

Maserati has come on leaps & bounds in terms of reliability, performance has never been an issue but with the 430 Modena engine, gearbox etc it's a dream to drive. The practicality is evident, it's an unusally a big car with almost the luxury of a top quality SL (previously owned). Maserati are not quite there yet but this car is right inbetween luxury & sporty driving with practicality.

If you buy one I would be shocked if you were not tinglng with nerves & joy every time to sit in it!

A very good 4X4 absolutely trouble free very smooth ride I love this car excellant ,Reliable and realy a pleasure to drive.

Love this car. Not particulary practical for families (lack of boot space and rear legroom) like all compact execs, not particularly cheap to run or service, but comfortable, refined, well equipped and a great drivers car. Like the Lexus prestige image but without the BMW/Audi/Mercedes price tag ! Have had mine for two years and no problems. An excellent long distance cruiser which is equally happy on the twisty back roads. Just don't even think about taking it out in the snow unless you have winter tires.

spot on reliability, great build quality, very economical, can go up to 17 KM in 1 litter , quick and brilliant

wouldn't buy another as i am keeping this forever,,,, but if i had to, i would get another in a heartbeat

The RANGE ROVER SPORT is the best by far the best car i have ever driven , and i have owned all the best cars on the market, the drive and comfort is un-beatable.

I have owned the car for years and its very reliable and has a very good build quality in comparison with other small compact, such as civic I have never had a problem with it apart from a flat tire after i unfortunately hit a pothole.

Nice Interior, Nice Performance, Nice Ride, It has the same power, more weight as RS3 but no way to beat audi AWD

Its a nice car, best interior on entry level compact car, stable, no problem on snow, fast, reliable, save on gas, comfortable, quite, and the most important thing of all - TURBO

not too bad not too good but better than any other car available on the market today but not so much better too
