2009 Chrysler Aspen

Even a lady can drive this SUV. I love my Aspen
My husband wanted this SUV but when his health went downhill I needed to take the wheel, I was nervous at first but it rode so smoothly and handled so nice. It has power to spare with a 5.7 HEMI plus a performance chip. Plenty of cargo space. Seats 8 comfortably with large screen NAV system and entertainment system. All leather heated seats both power adjustable. So many features to talk about. Best ride ever made.

Great family SUV
Lots of comfortable seating for the whole family and it's a strong vehicle for any outdoor activities. Reliable vehicle and looks sharp. A definite head turner.

Still impressing the heck out of me
I traded a V6 Nissan Pathfinder for my '08 Aspen 5 years ago and can't say enough good things about it. Gets way better fuel economy than the Nissan, better ride, more options, etc. Don't need the 8 passenger seating, but it holds a ton of cargo. The 5.7 Hemi has amazing power and can tow my house trailer with ease. Has only had oil changes, tires, and brakes in the 80,000 km that I've traveled in it. Looking to go to 300000 km in it at least!

2008 Chrysler Aspen

Love my aspen!
The ultimate family hauler, without looking lame. Holds 8 people, really comfortable, great for tall folk. We like the interior features, power converter, easy fold seats, heated leather, all the right bells and whistles. Holds a ton of gear, great for camping or long road trips. Very reliable, strong engine and tranny (mine has the Hemi). If you keep it at/under 100 km, it actually gets decent mileage (better than other SUVs of this size). My only complaint is the navigational system. Maybe the 2008 is just too obsolete but it's clunky and hard to program. We never used it.

Beautiful ride
Rides very nice, roomy, entertainment package keeps the kids occupied. Nav system is great, gets you where you want to go with ease. Gas mileage with the multi displacement is great one highways, and not too bad I the city either for the size and comfort of the vehicle. Feel very safe in drivers seat. I the winter the heated seats are sure nice to sit on.

Great family vehicle with style!
A great vehicle, the 3rd row seating allows you to accommodate everyone without compromising on style. The DVD player is great for kids on road trips. A/C and Heated leather seats for front and back. LOVE this vehicle.

2007 Chrysler Aspen

Trim: J trim
by Milbers on 05-04-2014
Solid Safe and Powerful
One of the best riding and handling SUVs you can buy. I see other reviews for a 2001 and 2010 model, they are mistaken as the modern Aspen was only produced from 2007 to 2009.
The hemi is hard on fuel around town (10-12 mpg) but it's forte is on the highway where I have gotten up to 24 mpg (at the speed limit). The front and second row buckets are comfortable with power, leather, and heat on the J trim package. The 20" rims don't give the smoothest ride on rough roads as there is less rubber depth to help soak up the bumps. It will seat 7 comfortably with a small space behind the 3rd row. The 3rd row has the split fold option so you can free up a lot of space as the seats fold flat, second row as well. With all the options there is nothing lacking except a heated steering wheel. It is a powerful tow vehicle capable up to 8900 lbs. I tow a 5000 lb. trailer with no problems at all in the tow/haul mode. It's really a shame that they don't make this full frame vehicle anymore as it does serve a purpose for those of us with families and the need to tow. Maintenance so far has amounted to regular oil changes and a new EGR, turn signal stalk, and water pump. I was able to do all the work myself using a Haynes manual. The 2009 model has a 376 HP hemi.

Luxury at its best
The ride is smooth and very quiet on all kinds of roads. When you need to speed up the Hemi kicks in and you are off. Average highway / city gas mileage (11 l / 100km). Great DVD entertainment system. NAV system and bluetooth are easy to use.

Ride is not that of a typical SUV
What I love about this Aspen is the ride! It is very smooth, absorbs the rough roads flawlessly! When you need to step on it the Hemi kicks in and you are off. The gas mileage has been quite good for a vehicle of this size, especially on the highway. The entertainment system with the DVD is excellent, kept the kids happy! Nv system is easy to use as is the Bluetooth .

2009 Chrysler Aspen

Trim: Hybrid Two Mode Hemi

Doesn't get any better than this!
This SUV Hybrid handles better than an Escalade, especially in the winter and unbelievable quiet in Hybrid mode!
Fuel economy is out of this world! Spacious, luxurious cabin with all the bells and whistles.
We added a Chrome bug deflector and it turns a LOT of heads, especially when people can not hear it running until you move!
One of THE best rides I've ever had!

The Chrysler Aspen is everything you could want in an SUV with the perks of a more expensive model. Variable displacement Hemi 5.7L get excellent highway mileage. I love this truck!
