Kia Forte 2005-2017Change

Have had the car 2 years and greatly enjoy it. We have been to the West coast of Canada and the USA twice since buying it and have been to the East coast of Canada twice and once to Washington DC. The car handled great and the fuel economy averaged over 40 mpg. Most of our cross country travel was in the USA on Interstates and the the speed limits on most were 70 -75 mph other then in the cities. Love the car for 2 people. Back seat is a little crowded for 2 adults on a long trip but for 2 it was great

Initially taking this car for a test drive, you wouldn't normally expect with its 2.4L, DOHC, in-line 4-cylinder however this car can really kick into high gear when want it to. There is something satisfying about putting your foot down and getting immediate reaction, however be mindful as you might get a neck crick from the quick responding 6 speed automatic transmission. The car's interior is nothing to out of the ordinary, however with the added iPod port as well as satellite radio which are all accessible from the steering wheel nothing seems cumbersome. Even though it is a two door car, there's still plenty of room for friends in the back. A 6'1 foot man like myself can still sit in the back without much hassle, and enough head room to not feel like your packed in a tuna can. Also not forgetting Kia's fantastic bumper to bumper 5 year warranty is the real winner here, Kia has gone great lengths to back their vehicles and manufacturing by literally fixing anything that happens to the vehicle within those 5 years up to and including minor car scratches! I would recommend this vehicle for anyone looking for a first brand new car.

the first time I saw this car I was surprised it was a Kia!!! Very sharp look to the exterior....and then I drove it...smooth shifting and just enough extras to allow for a very comfortable long ride...

We recently purchase a Kia Forte and let me say how surprised I was with this hot little car. Kia comes loaded with standard feature that you'd need to pay for with any other model in it's class. It's amazing on gas and has great pick up. This car was a great, reliable addition to our family.
