I love this car the way rides, very quite, very good engine, really good for a long ride first time having problemas, with a pressure control solenoid valve what affects the transmission performance, and needs two tires

I've driven this car to Toronto a few times and compared to my Pontiac G8, the Buick was far more comfortable ride! Gas usage
Was practically the same as my G8.

No better out there !

Easy to drive, very comfortable, good size. Fuel economy is pretty good for the excellent driving performance.

This is a solid car with surprisingly great gas mileage on the highway. It has great handling and easily sits 5 people.

With 4 winter tires, this car is unstoppable. The Allure's reliability rating is also excellent.

gas mileage was terrific in it's early days. Now, 13yrs later I only get 425-450Km per tank (65lit). Terrible!!

I've taken excellent care of the vehicle over the yrs. Am a good driver - meaning no over acceleration or hyper acceleration, lack of oil changes, etc.

Also had problems over the yrs with the power windows not working - one still doesn't work;

crystal odometer stopped working - cost $250 to fix;

driver heated seat stopped working in 2003 - would have cost me more than $500 to fix, so I didn't - I can live without.

What a great car. This car rides like a dream and handles more than adequately for a larger non sports car. On the highway, the ride is smooth, quiet and provides a sense of security. Fuel economy on the highway is great, it is the city stop and go that chews up your fuel with the Series III 3.8 L engine. This car just feels tight. It has loads of head room and leg room for tall folks, and those with long legs. The seats are very comfortable, and the controls are functional and within easy reach. The instrument panel is rather boring, but the rest of the interior features and creature comforts make up for that boring panel. Visibility both front and back and looking in the rear view mirror and side mirrors is above average and again gives one a sense of security as you can see in all directions. I would recommend this car for great value. I cannot attest to long term reliability yet as I have a long way to go yet with only 34000km driven, but I have done nothing but oil changes to this point. Hard braking is straight and smooth, however corner braking does reveal some body roll, but this is a luxury car, and not a Porshe. I have also noticed that handling suffers somewhat on bumpy roads, however, I have never owned a car where that is not the case.

I love her, and plan to drive my Allure, (Lacrosse), as it is known in the US, for the next 6-8 years.

Always been pleased with the looks and performance with the quality of a Buick Rendezvous. Next one needs to be foe seven passengers. The family is growing. Kids and grand children

I've never had any problems with this car. I've kept up with the maintenance so it still has the same performance of years past.

I have owned my 2001 Buick Century for 11 years (bought it in 2002). It is forest green with grey interior and still looks like new. I have relied on this car through thick and thin and it has never let me down, and never required anything but maintenance (which I attend to religiously). I particularly enjoy the quiet comfortable "floating" ride on long trips. I have put on over 250,000 km now without a minute's worth of trouble. I highly recommend Buick and am planning to purchase another - if this one should ever fail me!

Wasted money by purchasing the extented warranty on this. During the standard 4 year and 1 year extended warranty I only had one issue with the rear door look knob coming loose and falling into the door. In other words, a very sound reliable vehicle. Very quiet and smooth ride.

bought with 80,000km now has 150,000km. Car is mostly highway driven (100 km highway commute to work ) replace front brakes and rear sway bar links almost yearly, trans slips regularly , engine loses oil between 5,000km oil changes, remote works intermittently, headlights have went out briefly and came back on several times, on star attenna leaked into dome light. I have done all scheduled maintenance and rust proofed. Only minor rust on underbody but rust is starting around all door handles.( fellow employees report valve seals replaced, electrical problems, radio blacked out and one ECM on 06-09 models)

This car is great, especially for city driving and trying to find parking spots. Great fuel economy and it handles like a dream. Lots of zip with too many features to mention.

replaced the steering column switch new, new front brakes, new battery and alternator. runs excellent 37 miles hwy and 24 city. has a small oil leak and does not burn any oil. recent trip to manitoba got 37 -38 mpg. great vavle

It is a vehicle that I have owned that is dependable, reliable and comfortable. I am the original owner and it has only 130,000+ kms. It has room for 7 passengers. My whole family can ride with us in comfort...wife, daughter, son-in-law, and two grand-children. There are many Buick Rendevous still on the road which gives it great status and satisfaction to these owners. I think you will be pleased and happy owning this vehicle.

I just drove my Riviera over 250 kms and enjoyed every minute, did not want to shut the car off, could have just kept on driving. It is everything the ad says and more. If you buy this sweet ride it will be one of the best decisions you'll ever make.

One wouldn't think it at first, but this car really has it all. It's now-classic styling gets a lot of looks and smiles.

Equipped with the same 5.7L V8 from the Corvette, it's extremely powerful, yet refined and fuel efficient. The suspension is smooth but tough.

The interior is nothing short of spacious and luxurious. With eight seatbelts, the whole family - and then some - can go for a road trip. Both back seats can be folded down to offer more length and space than some pickup trucks.

As for reliability, you'll often see these cars with over 400,000km on them and they're still going strong.

For the price, there are few better cars that have so much to offer.

In 8 years - with just routine maintenance - have only had one repair! Just the heater fan. Can't go wrong with this one.

I have enjoyed driving this SUV, it is solid driving and comfortable especially on a trip. I bought it to drive up to northern Ontario with my dog and it provided her with space to lay down or move about. The 3rd row seating comes in handy for extra passengers or folds down for storage.

This car has never seen winter and it rides like it's new. must driven to be appreciated. This has been a weekend type car in the summer time. It's been looked after like a new born child that never wants to get old.

Great for long drives, lots of cabin space with comfortable seating. Nice and powerful v6 engine for highway driving. No major repairs needed or done. Up to date on all regular maintenance, brakes, fluids, tires etc....

This car is a reliable and extremely comfortable car. There's plenty of room and all the gadgets you could want, from heated seats to remote keyless entry. It's decent on gas, although its not going to match smaller cars like a Honda. But it has plenty of power and you couldn't ask for anything more reliable.
