They will request you send the balance back to them, shipping agent or business associate, etc. Banks will cash these counterfeit cheque’s & hold you responsible when the funds fail to clear. Common items: ATV’s, Snowmobiles, Farm Tractors Sport vehicles, some dog breeds, laptops, game systems, digital cameras – but could be almost anything. Common countries: Nigeria, Romania, Ukraine, Spain, UK, Italy, Netherlands – but could be anywhere. We have had numerous scammer accounts shut down & are working with officials in attempts to curtail these kind of scams, in the meantime, itPs BUYER BEWARE!
