HELP RESCUE THIS GRAND old lady! She has a long history, built in 1952 and extensively renovated approximately 10 years ago. Sadly, she has suffered much lately and is in need of repairs again. The "Freja" is a 28 foot double ended junk-rigged schooner with an 8 foot beam and 5 foot draft. Plywood hull, teak decking and oak beam interior (salvaged from the original Nanaimo Realty building). Engine well for inboard and shaft (no prop). Rudder steering. Rigging and sails complete (currently unstepped). This is a project boat - extensive work is required, but her current owners hate to see her deteriorate further and do not have the funds to have the work done. Work needed includes replacing most of the plywood hull (ribs & "skeleton" in good condition), the plywood under the decking, and rebuilding/renovating the interior. Fully rigged, most rigging is in good condition. All sails available, most in reasonable condition. Come take her away and give her the attention she deserves! Sold as is, where is. $0.00. obo.
